They are made from porcupine quills, beads and leather. The necklaces are 6 quills and 3 tall. The beads are glass like and the dark blue beads are semi gloss while the light ones are a little glossier. The leather is genuine and has been died a dark navy blue colour. It is threaded with beading thread and is nice and flexible. I am not of native blood but have been involved with the First Nations community and have a great respect for their ways and traditions, I am learning a few of their traditional crafts. The 6 quill necklace is 11.5 inches long without the ties, 26.5 inches with them. It is approximately 1/2 to 5/8 inch tall.
